Our verdict
Who should choose it?
Best for: Beginners who need one machine for sewing and embroidery.
The clearest first choice for someone who still wants normal sewing. Its compact field is limiting for large graphics, but unusually sensible for names, patches, baby items and first-shop experiments.
Important trade-off: A 4 × 4 field means more re-hooping once projects grow.
Documented workflow features
- 103 sewing stitches
- 3.7-inch color touchscreen
- Artspira-compatible
- Eight included sewing feet
Field, transfer method and workflow features deserve more weight than built-in design count. Designs can be added; machine geometry cannot.
Project fit and throughput
A 4 × 4 in field is the hard ceiling for one uninterrupted layout. Compare finished design dimensions in both orientations and leave clearance. The named hoop size may not equal every millimeter of usable stitching area.
The maximum of 400 spm is not a promise of job throughput. Thread changes, hooping, tracing, tests and safer speeds for difficult materials all add time.
Buying checklist
- Confirm exact model, voltage and seller configuration.
- Check included hoops, feet, software requirements and warranty region.
- Verify file-format and transfer-device compatibility.
- Budget for needles, bobbin thread, stabilizer and matched test materials.
